WELSH PROP RHYS Thomas has undergone heart surgery after being taken to hospital on Thursday having fallen ill during a training session with the Scarlets.
The 29-year-old, who has won seven caps for his country, is currently recovering in hospital.

Italy add Rizzo to the front-row mix
Italy have called up prop Michele Rizzo for the 2012 Six Nations.
Rizzo has spent just under four years in the international wilderness as he last turned out for Italy back in 2008 while on their summer tour of South Africa. But he has been added to Jacques Brunel’s squad for the forthcoming Six Nations.
